Kimberly, who has a background in graphic and website design, has found that she needs to continue to have contact with the outdoors on a daily basis. Her education/career(s) in forestry, fire fighting and diving have enabled her to be physically surrounded by nature. This is where she finds her ideas, images and inspiration. These jobs afforded her the privilege of living for long periods of time in the most pristine, remote, and otherwise inaccessible areas of British Columbia.
Her style is constantly developing. Kimberly’s coastal abstract style, the swirl and play of the art draws the viewer in to experience some of the intense physicality that is present on our Canadian wilderness.
